Is the program tool-agnostic?
Yes. The frameworks, oversight habits and review techniques transfer to any AI writing stack, so what you learn applies whether or not you use TrialAssure. Hands-on exercises use TrialAssure LINK® AI so you practice on a production-grade tool rather than slideware, but the certification is about the discipline, not the vendor: how to scope a draft, check a generated statement against its stated source, and decide what to accept, rewrite or reject. That judgment holds if your organization later standardizes on a different tool, or on several. The standards do not move either: a draft that AI helped write is held to the same ICH guidelines as one written by hand.
Can whole teams enroll?
Yes. Team and enterprise cohorts run on a schedule that fits your group, so an entire medical-writing function can certify together instead of in ones and twos. The shared standard is the point: when a whole team completes the same four weeks, it comes away with one vocabulary for oversight, one working definition of an acceptable AI-assisted draft, and the same instinct for when to escalate to a human reviewer. How much does the AIMWC program cost?
It is free. The AI for Medical Writing Certification is provided free of charge by TrialAssure: no tuition, no materials fee, and no requirement to be a TrialAssure customer. The four live 60-minute sessions, the on-demand replays, the completion certificate and LinkedIn badge, and the checklist and whitepaper downloads are all included. We run it because working effectively with AI is becoming an increasingly important medical writing skill, and we would rather that skill be widely held than gated behind a fee.
What is the format and time commitment?
The program runs four live, weekly 60-minute sessions over four weeks, with on-demand replays if you cannot attend live. Week 1 covers the honest state of AI in medical writing; week 2 is hands-on application in real project conditions; week 3 covers oversight, QA and responsible use; week 4 covers prompting strategy and expert review technique, plus bonus case studies and team-adoption insights. Plan on about an hour a week live, plus whatever time you give the exercises and downloads. You also get direct access to TrialAssure leaders and writers for questions along the way.
